Now in its 23rd year, this event is the highlight of the Calypso calendar. Through social and or political commentary, and or humour, the artists tries to capture the attention of the judges, in their bid for the title of 2003 Canadian Calypso Monarch. |

Devoted entirely to the captivating rhythms of the steelpan, 10 Steel Orchestras from the Ontario Steelband Association showcase the musical and tonal qualities of the steelpan, each playing selections of choice for twenty minutes including a predetermined arrangement of a well-known piece for assessment by a panel of judges. |
